Total Source Hero

Reliable agricultural equipment starts with reliable parts. That’s why our totally convincing product brand, TotalSource, only offers parts that match the performance, durability and quality of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs). Backed by the technical experts in TVH’s Quality Department, products are rigorously inspected and tested on in-house test benches to ensure they meet our customers' requirements. To top it off, all TotalSource parts come with an industry-leading two-year warranty.

Rigorous testing to high standards

TotalSource parts and accessories undergo rigorous testing and checks to ensure they meet our high standards of durability, reliability and quality.

 Critical to Quality attributes

TVH’s Quality Department is responsible for establishing product standards. These standards contain a number of attributes that are Critical to Quality (CTQs) and that the product must meet before being added to our range. CTQs usually relate to a product's form, fit and function, but appearance and durability are also included where relevant.

These quality standards then form the basis of the specification sheet used for first-article inspection (product onboarding) and the random sampling of incoming products. For TotalSource, these product standards are set to match the performance of OEM parts, while also complying with all relevant safety and product regulations. This ensures that customers experience flawless assembly and performance that meets their expectations. In fact, thanks to these standards, 99.8% of TotalSource products meet customer requirements.

Only premium materials

TotalSource parts are manufactured using materials of at least the same quality as OEM parts. To ensure this, TVH’s Quality Department performs spectral analysis on a selection of relevant products. Spectral analysis is a measurement method used to analyse the exact chemical composition of metals. After analysing the materials used in parts from OEMs, we instruct our suppliers to deliver the same or a higher grade if the same material is unavailable, so that no compromises are made to the structural integrity of the components.

In-house testing

Ensuring all TotalSource products meet our high standards for durability, reliability and quality is also made possible by over 25 in-house-developed test benches, which simulate real-world usage. For example, we test the durability of joysticks—and whether they are as durable as OEM parts—using an endurance tester, which continuously operates a joystick and measures its working cycles.

Backed by technical experts

To uphold our commitment to quality, we have a dedicated team that ensures every TotalSource part and accessory meets the required standards before it is sold. Consisting of over 100 quality specialists based across three continents, TVH’s Quality Department proactively inspects incoming goods and takes corrective action when we receive a complaint about a TotalSource product. The dedicated team checks which warehouses have similar products and takes action to get them removed from the supply chain. This is done within 48 hours so that substandard parts are taken out of circulation within two days.

Totally convincing two-year warranty

As a testament to the longevity of these parts and accessories, TotalSource offers an industry-leading two-year warranty from the date of invoice, surpassing the standard coverage offered by most OEMs. However, we receive warranty claims on less than 0.2% of the TotalSource products that we sell, a clear sign of our commitment to consistent quality.
