  • Electric brake clutch: a critical brake part that has a long service life. Looking for a replacement? We are happy to help. 
  • Electric brake disc: the main wear part of the brake. To enhance safety, a regular check-up is recommended. 
  • Electric brake dust cover: prevents the ingress or exit of dirt, dust, humidity, and more.
  • Electric brake friction plate: to be fitted on the motor when the motor surface is being machined. 

HOW TO INSTALL ELECTRIC BRAKES

Installing the electric brake to the machine is a work of accuracy, but with the right steps you should be able to mount it correctly.
Before you install it, there are some important installation instructions you need to take into consideration:

  1. Mount the brake on the motor.
  2. Tighten the mounting screws. Be sure to respect the prescribed torques. 
  3. Remove the plastic transit shims and / or transit screws.
  4. Set the air gap without tension on the coil (see chart).
